Excerpts from Dolores Garnier’s published writings . . . Perhaps I haven’t gotten very much to show for a life having gotten longer that it used to be. What I have though, I am grateful for and it makes me happy in bits and pieces. I love the sweet, soft voices of the Morning Doves, hearing the sound of thunder rumbling across the sky, watching window curtains blow in and out with a breeze, smiling at strangers in a store – so many worthwhile things and none of them having to be paid for in cold, hard cash. Truly, life can be beautiful.
